Thanks to the heroic efforts of our project developer, Stanford undergraduate Thawsitt Naing ’19, a beta version of the online CoSyn database will be ready for our upcoming Stanford project workshop.

Working alongside Katie McDonough, the Academic Technology Specialist in Stanford’s History Department, Thawsitt reconfigured the existing text corpus to run on PHILOLOGIC4, a full-text search, retrieval, and analysis tool developed by ARTFL. Thanks also to Clovis Gladstone, resident guru at ARTFL, for advice and assistance in overcoming many of the initial technical challenges. We’re excited to start testing it out!
